Meredith-Gray Bott was born in Virginia, USA in 1981. She received her BFA in Photography at the University of North Carolina in 2003. She was a recipient of the George and Joyce Kachergis Memorial Undergraduate Scholarship Fund in 2003 for her painting work that focused on gender exploration. She works primarily in watercolors, water-soluble oils, and ink. Her art draws on the occult, generational patterns, trauma, as well as, pop & queer culture.
